These gorgeous bar soaps are my favorite soaps ever. So beautiful, so textural, soft and gentle on skin, and they smell incredible. Like bathing in the forests of Oregon. I make them one tiny batch at a time, and they're generously scented with various combinations of the following: Frankincense, Balsam Pine, Doug Fir, Blue Spruce, Cedar, and more. Each is unique and always a blend of forest, botanicals and earth. The Wild Rose is like bathing in tub full of rose water and rose petals, out in the forests. They're lightly dusted with eco cosmetic grade mica powder for a hint of color that washes away with use and non staining.
The soap base in this batch is aloe + charcoal glycerine with a tiny bit goat's milk. There are fresh Oregon Doug Fir needles sprinkled into the soap for gentle exfoliation. Please be sure to use a strainer screen if you plan to use at a sink or bath.
All ingredients are gentle. Nothing artifical or harsh. Each batch is handmade and has it's own unique scent profile, qualities and colors.
I started making my own soaps because I wanted to know exactly what was going to touch my skin, as well as to create natural scents that feel more like a ritual or experience than simply cleansing.
