This choker chain necklace is most ornate of the new chains and was entirely handcrafted and built in sterling silver. One-of-a kind and choker length and sits well and comfortably, like a hug around the neck and feels SO GOOD on.
I cut, formed, textured, detailed and soldered each link, one at a time from 14 gauge sterling silver wire that I recycle and pull myself. It's a labor of love and meditation. I absolutely love making these chains. Many hours go into each and the end result is worth every minute. In a world full of prefabricated chain, these unique shapes sure stand out. Ornate enough to wear alone, or add a pendant or charm to the ring closure.
Even the toggle and ring are unique and handcrafted and made to be worn in the front.
The back of the chain is made of long paperclip links intentionally made for comfort at the back of the neck.
It currently measures 15.5" in total length and can be made slightly longer, up to 16" or so, or any shorter length. If you don't know your choker chain length, you can wrap a string, ribbon, cord around you neck and find the spot just above where your neck and shoulder intersect. Then, measure with a ruler.

The chain is stamped at one end with my extra small LUPANYXA/M.NYXA makers mark and 925 for STERLING.
